Job Description

Immediate opening for a Technical – Service Manager of Commercial Food Service equipment, including refrigeration products and laundry equipment. 


  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the manufactured products including cooking, refrigeration, dish-washing and laundry equipment
  • Provide technical training to sub contracted authorized technicians to improve the quality and knowledge of our of service  network around the country
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to the department
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting over the phone in order to assist sub contracted technicians to fix our products on the field in a more efficient way
  • Traveling for visiting and training major customers and service network
  • Provide feedback to our factories regarding product failures and suggestions for modifications and improvements in performance, reliability and serviceability of products
  • Keep active communication with our factories as well as with authorized technicians and service staff regarding updates and modifications on the products
  • Update and improve service documentation and manuals for training and better technical support purposes
  • Manage and develop the service staff, which includes technical training, hiring, terminating and discipline, setting work priorities and goals, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production
  • Update / Manage service indicators and monthly reports, including failure rates of the products

Job Requirements


  • A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required with 5+ years of experience in commercial food service products and/or laundry equipment.  Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • 3+ years previous experience in a technical service position; preferably in a leadership role such as a Service Manager or Equipment or Maintenance Manager (ideal backgrounds include commercial or domestic appliances, air conditioning and refrigeration and commercial food service or laundry)
  • Strong supervisory, communications, computer and analytical skills are required.
  • Above average customer service and communication skills for troubleshooting, technical support and training
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish); ability to travel up to 40%
