Immediate opening for a Receptionist:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls on main switchboard. 
• All phone messages must be attended to daily.
• Greet patients and provide patient intake forms.
• Collect patient intake forms and review and prepare for Medical Assistant within a timely manner.
• Monitor daily emails and route accordingly.
• Confirm daily appointments 48 hours in advance.
• Check for referrals and collect financial responsibility from patients.
• Verify with the patient the insurance and update all pertinent information as needed.

• Acquired proficiency in telephone switchboard.
• Functional and technical knowledge as well as skills to perform the job with a high level of accomplishment.
• Ability to understand medical manager software. MS Office proficiency.
• Punctuality is a must, as the Receptionist must be at desk when office opens.
• Able to relate to personalities using diplomacy and tact.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that enables rapport with patients, co-workers, and supervisors.

Schedule:  Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
• Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
