Shift:  3:00PM - 2:00AM

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Encapsulation Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position requires hands-on knowledge of the encapsulation process from start to finish, with the ability to operate equipment independently and maintain required production levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and clean encapsulation equipment in accordance with batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Set up equipment following validated parameters and perform changeovers as needed

• Ensure proper handling and transport of blend materials to and from the staging area

• Load materials and capsules into the machine, maintain capsule weight, and perform in-process quality checks

• Document all process data accurately in the batch records

• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or deviations to the supervisor promptly

• Follow the pre-established manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision

• Work in compliance with cGMP and all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE

• Support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives as directed

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Prior experience - 2+ years' experience as solid dose manufacturing operator, with full understanding of the tablet production process

• Familiarity with the manufacturing of vitamins, minerals, herbal, and OTC products

• Comfortable working in environments with strong odors, high noise levels, and long periods of standing

• Must not have allergies that could be affected by materials handled

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
