Job Description

Help Desk Technician:

We are seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Tech to support a variety of projects within the organization.  We are seeking those who can work in a mixed Windows and Mac OS environment and perform a wide variety of duties.  The person must have experience in VMware ESXi, Microsoft Exchange 2013, Windows 2012 R2 (Network Services) Database MySQL, CMS (Os Commerce, Magento), Help desk general, Repair Maintenance, and Install.

The position requires the employee to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.  Seeking someone who is self-motivated to learn new technologies and stay abreast to industry changes.  Employee must possess attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow-through.

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Project Management skills a definite must.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide technical level 1 & 2 help desk support to Company personnel locally and remotely
  • Provide IT support to senior management/executives in the office and remotely as needed

Technical Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Networking configuration DHCP, DNS, VPN, FTP, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and Radius.
  • Troubleshoot networking hardware/software (Cisco routers, Cisco Access Points, Cisco switches, and Cabling).
  • Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook, Magento
  • Be able to support Active Directory, Offie365, Windows Servers, Windows Desktops/Laptops, Mac OS, VMware, VPN, Remote Desktop Services.
  • Experience with Cisco Phone Systems.

Job Requirements

  • Associate Degree in a technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, certification(s) and experience required
  • 3 Years of verifiable related IT experience required
  • 3 Years Help Desk Level 1 & 2 experience
  • A+ (CompTIA) certification a plus
  • Microsoft Certifications a plus
  • Cisco Certifications a plus
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
